Investments in the Innovation Fund are the most important kind of investment.
They help meet the colleges’ ongoing need for flexible income to support their academic missions. As unrestricted support, these contributions are used by our colleges on a daily basis where the needs and opportunities are greatest — from attracting world-class faculty to providing need-based financial aid, creating new and innovative curricula to equipping classrooms and labs with the tools to maximize students learning experiences.
Contributions to the Innovation Fund are divided among member colleges 60% equally, 40% by enrollment.

Designations:
Businesses or foundations may wish to honor institutional allegiances or support particular programs at our colleges by designating support to one or more of our members. Although such gifts benefit only institution(s) specified by the investor, they can benefit The I-Fund by qualifying for Challenge Grants or by setting an example for additional contributions.
The Pooled Scholarship Fund helps ensure the benefits of an independent liberal arts education are available to many qualified young men and woman for whom the cost of college would otherwise be out of reach. Scholarships from this fund are awarded to students of all majors; the sole criterion for selection is financial need. Grants fund both basic and emergency financial needs. Minimum investment in the Pooled Scholarship Fund is $1000.
Contributions are divided among all 10 member colleges by a formula based on full-time enrollment, once a $1,000 per college minimum distribution is achieved.
