Maryland Scholars

The Maryland Scholars Program was developed to reflect the business and non-profit community’s deep commitment to independent liberal arts education and its impact on the future of Maryland. A student who stays in Maryland after graduation to live and work is an investment that pays for itself many times over. Nearly half of the students who graduate from our member colleges remain in Maryland! What a great investment to fund one of these students that will continue to pay dividends for the state! Contact your financial office and ask for the I-Fund “Maryland Scholar” grant by name.

• Demonstrate financial need
• Candidates must be permanent residents of Maryland
• Student must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Preference given to students with a history of volunteerism and/or community involvement
• Thank you letters are required
