Almas Ahmed created the prize-winning graphic, shown here, in
the I-Fund's contest to design a logo to represent its Health & Life Sciences Scholars Program.

A Visual Communication Design major at Stevenson University, Almas focuses both her academic pursuits and part-time work as a graphic designer for Stevenson U. on a singular inspiration—graphic design—combining her school and work responsibilities into a invaluable learning experience.
Concerning her interests and motivation, Almas possesses a love of the fine arts; but, saying "...my true passion lies in graphic design" Almas brings a broad view into focus.

In 1997 and during her early teens and the first Gulf War, Almas left her native Kuwait to come to the United States.
