The Urban Scholars Program will begin the 2009 season with the 5th annual Economic Development Workshop & Retreat, hosted by GBC.
The Urban Scholars Program celebrated its first class of scholars who graduated from college and the Program in the Spring of 2008!
Highlighting the Workshop will be special training sessions from program partners, volunteers and board members.
The new season for 2009 will begin fund raising in earnest with the goal of funding three classes of students and providing paid internships for the summer of 2009.

The National Security Scholars Program Dinner will hold its annual dinner for the NSSP award recipients for the 2009-2010 academic year. The $15,000 scholarship award winners will be treated to a grand evening in Baltimore at Roy's, courtesy of Booz Allen Hamilton!
